Anna- Maria Papiri was born in Corfu and lives in Athens. She studied design and painting at the School of Arts and Handicrafts of Corfu, as well as Graphic Design and Industrial Design at Vakalo College. She graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2000 with a degree in Management and furthered her studies by completing her MBA in 2002.
While at university she worked as Editor in ENA magazine, and later on, she worked as Beauty Editor in the weekly magazine, EINAI (Einai), VΟTRE BEAUTE, ΕΓΩ (EGO) and STATUS. Her passion, which evolved into a way of life, revolved around beauty, well-being and anti-ageing. When health magazines were at their peak in Greece, she was the wellness editor in the women’s health magazine, PREVENTION, as well as in MEN’S HEALTH and WOMEN’S HEALTH.
Anna-Maria is the writer of several wellbeing books. In 2012 she released her first book, “I Epanastasi tis Neotitas” (The Revolution of Youth) by Minoas publishing, which puts forward a holistic approach on youth. In 2016, she released “I Dieta allios” (The Greek Diet Cure) by Oxy publishing, which is a detailed research, based on the most important studies carried out about the Greek Mediterranean Diet and aims at improving quality of life and weight control. This year the English version of the book, The Greek Diet Cure, is going to be released. In 2020, she is going to publish her new book on menopause.
She received an award in the annual “Apollonian Awards” for her overall contribution in the field of wellness as well as for the field of anti-ageing in the Fitness Meeting 2013.
She has been the ambassador of Garnier in Greece in 2014 and 2015. In 2019 she was the Greek spokesperson for Nivea and in 2020 she is the spokesperson of the NUXE anti-ageing series in Greece.
She participates as a speaker in conferences and symposiums on anti-ageing, beauty and quality of life.
She conceived of the idea and organizes a symposium on “Youth in Middle Age” which has been successfully held over the last two years in Athens by the non-profit organization “I Love My Life” that she is the Founder and CEO.
She is now partnering with BOUSSIAS COMMUNICATIONS and is a Co-Founder of the Wellness Project.
